FBC's Pastoral Staff
Pastor Matt Seaver serves as the pastor of First Baptist Church with a passion for helping people know Jesus personally and grow as fully devoted followers of Christ. He is committed to preaching God’s Word with clarity, leading with humility, and building a church that reaches the community with the gospel.
Matt’s heart is to see lives transformed through the truth of Scripture and the presence of God. He is passionate about equipping others for ministry and helping people discover their God-given purpose and calling. His life verse, Proverbs 16:9, reflects his trust in the Lord’s direction: “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.”
Matt and his wife, Sara, have been blessed with five children. As a family, they enjoy spending time together, being outdoors, and investing in meaningful relationships within the community.
